Thank you for posting on the Intel communities. So I want to know why the resolution is now restricted for the first notebook and not for the second notebook if the specifications state the same maximum resolution. But currently I can use the maximum resolution of the external display (5120x2160).

The offical specification states here also a support of 4096 x 2304. But I used the stated configuration more than a year with the full resolution 5120x2160.Īdditionally I have a business notebook Intel(R) Core(TM) i5-10310U CPU. I'm aware that the official specification of the i9-9980HK CPU states only a support of 4096 x 2304. Starting from the mentioned driver version the maximum available resolution is only 3840x2160. Up to the Intel UHD 630 driver version 27.20.100.9664 it was possible to to use this maximum resolution on the external display via the Thunderbold 3 port. I use also an external display (LG 34WK95U) which supports a maximum resolution of 5120x2160
